Personal Number:
IT cannot block a number that is calling you, but you can block it from calling you via the DialPad app.
If you need to block a number from calling you in DialPad, follow these steps.

If you do this, make sure that it is truly a number you want to block. There are 3 levels of "blocking" The most extreme will make the number appear out of service.
- If you don't have the app installed you can open the web version of the app at dialpad.com/app.
Choose if you want to forward straight to voicemail or block completely.

Department Number:
- The person wanting to block a number from a Debarment must be a member of that Department
- The steps above are the same with the exception that you need to click the department you want to block the phone number from
- If you do not have the "Block Contact" button you need to contact the Supervisor of that Department as they may have access to block this for you
- If the Supervisor does not have the "Block Contact" button IT can temporarily add themselves to the Department and block the number.
Contact Centre Number:
- The person wanting to block a number from a Contact Centre must be a member of that Department
- The steps above are the same with the exception that you need to click the Contact Centre you want to block the phone number from
- If you do not have the "Block Contact" button you need to contact the Supervisor of that Contact Centre as they may have access to block this for you
- If the Supervisor does not have the "Block Contact" button IT can temporarily add themselves to the Contact Centre and block the number.
